Bianca contacted us in 2014 when she ran into problems with her web-master and hosting setup. After a discussion we decided to port her outdated Joomla website onto the WordPress platform as part of the general migration process to new hosting. The pain of this was eased once we found that the template she was using had a WordPress version.
We decided to create the course listings as posts – which allowed us to use tags and categories. We also combined this with a grid layout which facilitated easy display of items in various categories to populate certain pages in an visually interesting way vs an uninteresting bulleted list of options. This meant that future updates to the courses didn’t entail updating half the site manually. Security also improved by being on an up-to-date CMS.
Fast forward to 2016 and it was time for a complete overhaul. The theme was replaced with something cleaner and simpler. I really love the new look!
